Hello, I’m Tracey and it is lovely to meet you! My clients tell me that I excel at capturing the essence of their brand and instinctively know how their online presence needs to feel. My friends and family would say that I am highly dependable, trustworthy and kind-hearted, with a friendly smile for everyone!
My career really started in sales and marketing with Vodafone Corporate where I was promoted over the years to senior manager. Vodafone gave me so much including professionalism, a commercial background, some seriously excellent customer services skills and a work ethic that has taken me above and beyond! I won an award in my final year with Vodafone for the contract of the year with Deloitte worth £5m.
But… my husband and I had a dream to go off to France and restore a ruin and that’s exactly what we did! We sold our house in the UK for a nice profit and off we went. After a lot of sweat and tears and more than a few years, our beautiful Quercy Farmhouse was returned to its former glory!
Beginning the Business
We also needed an investment we could rent out and we found a pretty little villa in Turkey with an incredible view of the Mediterranean. A website, was required and it couldn’t’t be that hard, after all I had learned French and I love design in all shapes and sizes! So I crafted a website with a holiday vibe and it was successful, the villa was fully booked for all of the seven years that we owned it. Plus I won an award for my first web design from 123-reg, a hosting company!
This led to friends and then friends of friends asking me to craft websites for them. My business was born.
I am highly driven, a very quick learner and very much a self-starter. I bought lots of books, did lots of courses and worked hard, often into the early hours. The Design Principles degree course was the best thing I ever did. In 2009 I started to work with WordPress and today I am proud to call myself a specialist in WordPress and WooCommerce.
18 years later we have won 3 awards, been featured in a web design magazine and have created nearly 200 websites; plus, we have lots of happy client testimonials, but something was not quite working – the business needed a complete refresh….
The Rebrand
I embarked on a complete rebrand. I’m not talking about a new look I am really talking about a complete reinvention of my business!
After running web design business for 18 years, I got to the stage where I was craving clarity, fresh inspiration and a new sense of purpose and direction. More than anything I knew it was time to elevate the business, work with more of my dream clients and up-level my offerings. This wasn’t something I was going to do on my own, I needed help.
It was at this point I engaged a leading Brand Strategist to help make it happen. Over four months we worked closely to get dazzling clarity on all of the different elements that underpin my brand so we could bring it to life with flair and intention.
We worked a great deal on my business messaging and the colours and style that I felt would best represent the way I wanted to come across in the world. I was also very keen to involve the team of collaborators that I recommend for the services I don’t provide, taking the business from ‘me’ to ‘we’.
The upshot is a really powerful body of work that I’m so proud of and that includes a slight change of name, a new look and feel and a new website with range of fabulous, upgraded offerings.
