For too long women have felt that in order to be taken seriously and to succeed in life, we need to keep all the plates spinning and to be all things to everyone; a good mother, a good wife, a good friend, a good colleague. In amongst this we can often neglect our own needs and wants and when we do put ourselves first, we can feel pangs of guilt.
We are delighted to welcome Laura Ridout to give this presentation/workshop at Taunton & Pickeridge Golf Club where she will introduce us to the 5 Women’s Powertypes; the Mother, Lover, Warrioress, Queen and Sorceress. We are going to learn about their power (our power) and how their different energies can help us at times when we need it most.
Laura will take us on a deeper dive into the ‘Lover’ Powertype, where we will embody her captivating and magnetic energy. We will learn the strengths of self-acceptance and self-compassion which in turn will lead us to understand the power of self-care.
This talk will include some practical coaching exercises, discussion and Q & A.
Laura has 20 years’ experience of working in the NHS and local government helping people change what isn’t working for them from both a one-to-one perspective and a population level. 7 years ago she chose to escape the corporate style coaching that she had learned. She felt that women needed something different if they are to achieve their aspirations and live life on their terms.
Laura is now a certified Women’s Coach. She uses a coaching method that has been designed by women for women. A method that shifts people from over-giving, over-pleasing and sacrifice towards core values, self-compassion and resilience. Laura helps people trust their own inherent value and to break through their inner glass ceiling. She offers both 1:1 coaching and Group coaching as well as Retreats. Laura’s methods are empowering and enlightening and support people to reach their potential.
