And we are back from the summer holidays, didn’t they pass quickly? Now it’s time to look forward to the last quarter of 2024.
As you may have seen on social media we will be in a new location as from September and so we would like to invite you to our morning’s networking meeting at The Shrubbery Hotel in Iminster, the subject of which will be “Communication in Business.”
Good communication is vital for women in business because it helps build trust, show expertise, and lead effectively. Clear communication allows women to handle challenges, negotiate deals, and connect with their audience. It also helps in leading teams and making sure their business stands out. By communicating well, women can overcome obstacles, inspire others, and grow their businesses.
As part of the morning’s meeting will are delighted to be welcoming Ceri-Ann Taylor from Enable Law, to give a short presentation on this subject, which she also struggled with. She states that  “You are only as good as the words you communicate” a phrase that rings true more in business than in life generally. Your business could justify Olympic Gold but unless your audience knows you are that good, how will they know to come to you, and not the Silver medallists offering down the road? Part of developing effective business is communication is how to tell people that you are good at what you do. Her presentation contains some top tips for optimising communication in business in order to win and retain your customers.
